Get in the right Christmas spirit with indoor and outdoor Christmas lights

Category: Christmas

When the days get shorter and the weather colder, we want to light up the darkness. Since prehistoric times, humans have lit bonfires to get light and warmth, but nowadays you avoid soot and ash – and you don’t have to wait until Christmas to put up atmospheric lights in the driveway, garden or on the balcony. When it gets dark, the sight of strings of lights draped around a tree or hanging from the gutter can be absolutely magical.

You can also add festive sparkle to your garden or perhaps your balcony with a jumble of small, bright stars on light trees.

Don’t forget to think about your neighbors when you put up lights on the balcony or in your garden. It’s best to avoid bothering them with lighting that shines into their living room or bedroom.

Outdoor Christmas lights are a great way to welcome guests.

At JYSK, we have a large selection of outdoor lighting that can brighten up your home. Light chains are easy to set up, and you can let your imagination run wild and be creative with your lighting – or keep it classic and elegant.

Indoor Christmas lights for the whole home

Once you’ve got the outdoor Christmas lights in place, it’s time to decorate the living room and dining room. As we approach Christmas, we are approaching the most magical time of the year, and nothing creates a more festive mood than Christmas lights.

Hang a cute light chain around the door or window and add a little magic to the décor. Don’t forget to light candles to create a little nook where you can enjoy a good book while Last Christmas sounds the background.

An easy way to create atmosphere is to welcome guests into a home full of Christmas lights, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
