GUIDE TO CHOOSING A BEDSIDE TABLE
Once you have had a bedside table, it can be difficult to do without. But what should you consider when buying a new bedside table?
- Height – pay attention to whether the table fits in height with your bed. It should preferably be at the level of your mattress or a little higher.
- The size – depth and width is significant in relation to whether the bedside table can stand next to the bed, but also affects how much you can store on the table
- Storage – should the bedside table be for decoration or serve as storage? Consider whether you should get a table with or without drawers
- Material – it is a good idea to take the material into account when buying a new bedside table. It should match with the rest of the décor, e.g. the material on the bed. If you have a glass of water standing on the table, metal is more practical than wood, which is susceptible to water rings and other stains.
