JYSK Malta Supports EUROPA DONNA MALTA this Pink October.

Date: October 24, 2023

Category: Inspiration

JYSK Malta is once again wholeheartedly participating in Pink October 2023.  From the 21st of October until the 29th, both our Lija and Qormi stores will join in raising awareness for the noble cause of breast cancer awareness.

We firmly believe in the importance of giving back to the community, and this year we have chosen to extend that commitment to EUROPA DONNA MALTA.

During this year’s Pink October campaign, our dedicated staff will be proudly sporting pink shirts, not only to raise awareness but also to show our solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.  We are happy to announce that EUROPA DONNA MALTA will be the beneficiary of our donations this year.  EUROPA DONNA MALTA aligns with our values and we believe that this donation will help support their mission in bringing about awareness of breast cancer and breast health in Malta and Gozo, and to support people affected by the disease.

We firmly believe that every small action counts, and together, we can make a significant impact. For more information and to donate directly: https://europadonnamalta.org.mt/

Together, we can turn the world pink with hope and support.

About EUROPA DONNA MALTA

Europa Donna Malta was set up to bring about an awareness of breast cancer and the importance of breast care in Malta. It was started by three ladies back in 1987 as the Mastectomy Support Group but was renamed the Breast Care Support Group (BCSG) in 1989 to include anyone affected by breast cancer in any way.

In 2004 the group was affiliated with Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer coalition, which advocates for optimal breast cancer treatment for all women in the European Union. At the moment there are 46 countries affiliated with Europa Donna.

The Breast Care Support Group is a member of Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer Coalition. It was set up to bring about an awareness of breast cancer and breast health in Malta and to support people affected by the disease.  They are dedicated to helping breast cancer survivors reclaim a positive body image and a healthy lifestyle. Support for family and friends with regular meetings in both Malta and Gozo is offered.
