When the days get shorter and the weather colder, we want to light up the darkness. Since prehistoric times, humans have lit bonfires to get light and warmth, but nowadays you avoid soot and ash – and you don’t have to wait until Christmas to put up atmospheric lights in the driveway, garden or on the balcony. When it gets dark, the sight of strings of lights draped around a tree or hanging from the gutter can be absolutely magical.
